About Me

Hey, I’m Tevin Greene — a tattoo artist based in Shelby, NC. I was born in Asheville and raised right here in Shelby. Art has always been part of who I am, and growing up around tattoo shops only deepened that connection.

My dad, Lee Greene, began tattooing in 2001. I spent countless hours watching him work, absorbing what it takes to truly master the craft. Eventually, he gave me my first tattoo at 19. From that point on, I knew this was the path I wanted to follow.

In 2020, I made the decision to leave my job and pursue tattooing full time. It wasn’t always easy, but every challenge helped me grow. More importantly, each step forward brought me closer to building a career I’m proud of.

Today, I’m honored to work alongside my dad at Greeneworks Tattoo, our private studio in Shelby. Together, we bring a mix of experience, creativity, and care to every piece we create. Whether you’re looking for fine line, black and grey, or custom color work, I strive to make each tattoo a meaningful one.

I’m also incredibly grateful for the support of my girlfriend, Makayla. Her encouragement through every phase of my journey has meant the world, and I wouldn’t be here without her.
