My Journey as a Tattoo Artist in Shelby NC
Our Studio Legacy at Greeneworks Tattoo in Shelby NC
Tevin Greene | Custom Tattoo Artist in Shelby, NC
Hey, I’m Tevin Greene. If you are looking for a dedicated tattoo artist in shelby nc, I am proud to share my journey with you. I was born in Asheville but raised right here in Shelby. Art has always been an essential part of who I am. Consequently, growing up around local tattoo shops only deepened my connection to the craft.
My dad, Lee Greene, began tattooing back in 2001. I spent countless hours watching him work in the studio. During this time, I absorbed what it takes to truly master this profession. Eventually, he gave me my first tattoo when I turned 19. From that specific point on, I knew this was the exact path I wanted to follow.
In 2020, I made the major decision to leave my regular job. I chose to pursue custom tattooing full time. It wasn’t always easy. However, every challenge helped me grow as an illustrator. More importantly, each step forward brought me closer to building a professional career I’m genuinely proud of.
Our Studio Legacy at Greeneworks Tattoo
Today, I am incredibly honored to work alongside my dad at Greeneworks Tattoo. This is our private, appointment-only studio located right here in town. Together, we bring a unique mix of experience, creativity, and clean care to every piece we create. Therefore, whether you want fine line work, smooth black and grey realism, or bold custom color, I strive to make each design deeply meaningful.
I am also incredibly grateful for the constant support of my girlfriend, Makayla. Her encouragement through every phase of this intense journey has meant the world to me. Quite simply, I wouldn’t be operating here without her by my side.
